Lacrosse Fall Ball, Conditioning and Clinic Scheduled Sept. through October
Folsom Lacrosse Fall Ball starts Sept. 7 and continues through the end of October on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4-5 pm and Saturdays from 9-11:00am.
All activities will be at Kemp I, the field behind the Folsom Sports Complex. The format is set so that Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays will be dedicated to skills training and scrimmaging. Wednesdays will be solely for conditioning.
Tuesday evenings will include a special program designed to introduce lacrosse to beginning players. There will be no cost if you attend solely on Tuesdays. However, please register on our website as a "Tuesday Only" athlete. Those who register and attend on the other nights are also invited to attend on Tuesdays.
As always, our team of exceptional coaches will be conducting the skills training. The conditioning will be conducted by a local running coach who will be teaching running techniques to increase speed and agility.
Cost is $150 for the entire program.
Register now by clicking on the registration tab at left or clicking http://www.folsomcordovalax.org/Registration/Default.asp?snid=511020799&org=folsomcordovalax.org . We look forward to your participation. Membership in US Lacrosse is required. If you do not have a current membership, go to http://www.uslacrosse.org/Home.aspx .
If you know someone who has expressed interest in our sport, please let them know about the clinic and conditioning.

posted 03/24/2010 Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports for boys and girls in the Sacramento region.
The Folsom-Cordova Lacrosse Club started its first competitive season in 2005. It is an inclusive sport that allows all types of players to participate.
You don't have to be the tallest, biggest or fastest to excel. It takes the physicality of football (it will actually help football players with out-of-season conditioning, footwork etc.), adds the athleticism of soccer and the stick handling of hockey, uses the spacing/movements of basketball, and combines it into one thrilling game.
Consider joining the FCLA tradition.

posted 02/25/2010 Fans please be advised that seating arrangements will have a new look this year.
The league wants all spectators to sit on the opposite side of the field from the teams. Many spectators were sitting too close to the player sideline last year and so we are making a switch for 2010 season. Players will be on the far side of the field near bleachers. Spectators will be on the side nearest fence and trees/entryways. We ask that you bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
Do not sit on the endline (too dangerous with shots on goal). Please remember to honor the game and be gracious, supportive in your cheers to the players. All issues in the game are STRICTLY handled by the Coaches and Referees. We provide a field marshall at home games to help maintain positive sportsmanship from fans.
