Reserve your room and pizza at the
Redding Jamboree Feb.24
U13, U15, and United JV and United Varsity players and families please note that the deadline to reserve rooms at the group rate has been extended to Jan. 30.
Also, player families are welcome to join in on the pizza night even if you are not staying at the hotel.
If you are staying at hotel and want to join the pizza party - let them know you want to reserve for the pizza party when you make your room reservation. This cost is separate from hotel. The dinner will be in the banquet room and is planned at 8:30 p.m. (All teams are playing at 6:30 so idea is that all would be done playing around the same time). Cost is $7 per person. (Includes, pizza,salad,drinks).
If you are not staying at the hotel but would like to join in for the pizza, then call Karen Evans 530-226-8435 (Office Direct Line). This is also necessary for those who have made their reservation but didn’t or forgot to reserve for pizza.

Thereafter reservations will be taken on a space available basis only. A credit card or advance deposit is required to guarantee reservations. Approximately 40 rooms are available to Folsom. Cost is $119 for the night for 2 queen beds or/1 King Bed (sleeps 4). The charge includes a breakfast buffet for four. Additionally, rollaways for King rooms, are available on a first come basis at time of check in.

posted 01/17/2012 Once again, Ryan Higgins DDS, has offered to custom make mouth guards for our Folsom Lacrosse Club free of charge! He will be custom fitting players on Saturday, January 28th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at his office. Parents must accompany child to office. Dr. Higgins' office will call when the mouth guard is ready to be picked up.

Folsom Lacrosse High School Girls team seeks additional players. If you are unsure about whether the sport is for you, Come out and give it a try. 2012 Lacrosse starts Monday, Jan.16
Practice Fields and Times are as follows:
United High School Boys - Kemp 1
- 3:45 – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday
United High School Girls - Kemp 2
- 3:45 - 5:15 pm Monday – Friday.
U-11 & U-13 - Kemp 1
- 5:30 -7 pm M, W and Friday at Livermore
U-15 - Kemp 1 - 7-8:30 M,W and Friday at Livermore. Subject to change when high school home game days played during week.
Full gear required. Medical release waivers for 2012 need to be turned in. Waivers and code of conduct forms available on line at website under documents.
Games start for Boys High School JV and Varsity and U13, U15 youth players at the Redding Jamboree Friday Feb. 24. (Most schools have this week off). Girls season will start in March as will the boys U11.

PRE-SEASON LACROSSE OPPORTUNITIES
FOR GIRLS COMING UP
There are two opportunities coming up for players to get their game on and prepare for the spring season.
First up is the UC Davis January Clinic on January 28th for girls in grades 6-12. See flyer in documents . The clinic will encompass stick work, shooting, individual defense, individual offense, goalkeeper instruction, and players will also have the opportunity to work with their draw specialist. From individual skills they will build up to game scenarios and 7v7 play. This is a great opportunity to train with NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse players and coaches!
The next day, the UC Berkeley Cal lacrosse team hosts the 4v4 Queen of the Turf Play Day and Clinic at Berkeley High on Sunday, Jan 29th for girls ages 13-18. Attend for a fun day of lacrosse to break in those sticks for preseason! Teams may consist of 5-9 players (bring a goalie!), or you can sign up to play individually and they'll form a team for you. See flyer in documents. All participants must be a current US Lacrosse member.

Costs- $370 for High School Boys - Grades 9-12,
$300 for High School Girls Grades 9-12 (8th grade girls eligible), and $270 for Youth teams - Grades 3-12.
Registration fees increase an additional $50 after NOV.20 .
Click on register now button or link on left. We are a non-profit organization and fees are used to pay for such things as fields use and preparation, goals, coaching stipends, referees, uniforms, equipment and some loaner equipment.
Teams will begin practice late to mid-January. Games will start the last week of February. We open with play at the Redding Lacrosse Jamboree Feb. 25 and 26 for Varsity, JV, U-15 and U-13 boy teams! Special note: Looks like with the number of teams attending we most likely will play on Friday the Feb.24th and not on Sunday the 26th. Keep in mind that school is out for most students the week of Feb.20-24.
Additionally, players must enroll or renew their US Lacrosse member. Cost is $35 for high school players and $25 for youth players.
